Wool Processing

Many machines in the wool industry are old and have been discontinued by the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

We Can continues to supply top quality parts to keep these machines operating including:

  • Spinning frames, including spinning crowns, and yarn guide buttons
  • Carding Machines, change gears, and wool sampling core plug cutters

Wool is abrasive and hard on machines so we have redesigned many OEM parts to ensure they are more durable and reliable. 

  
We have an extensive library of parts and can produce spares in a short space of time. Any part that isn't carried as standard can be made to exacting specifications and added to our library.

Over the years, we have been asked to make replacement parts for many different machinery brands, resolving sourcing difficulties, reducing cost, eliminating OEM part defects, and / or reducing lead times.

When defects in the design of OEM parts cause unplanned machine downtime, we investigate the problem, identify the cause and redesign the part to resolve the problem.
